JB Hi-Fi has welcomed back former company CEO Richard Uechtritz to his new position as non-executive director that will be effective from 28 April.
As indicated when Uechtritz resigned as CEO of the company in February that he intended to rejoin the board in early 2011.
Joining him in the same position will be Beth Laughton who will take her new role on 26 May.
Chairman Patrick Elliot said Uechtritz has over 20 years in retailing and is highly regarded in the industry.
“With the transaction of the CEO role to Terry Smart successfully completed, the Board is looking forward to Richard re-engaging as director,” he said.
“On behalf of the JB Hi-Fi board, I am delighted to welcome Beth to the board. She brings a breadth and depth of skills in JB Hi-Fi both retail and broader corporate sector and we look forward to her contribution.”
