Hello and welcome to the all-new Retailbiz! It’s a pleasure to introduce myself as the site’s new editor and to introduce our new site to all of you.

Over the past few months we’ve been working away to bring you a whole new website chock full of what we hope is interesting and inspiring content. We don’t just want to keep you up-to-date on the latest retail news and trends, but to also bring you stories on the innovations and technologies that are driving the industry forward.

With a fantastic team of journalists who cover lots of separate retail verticals, you’ll be seeing in-depth reporting on a wide range of topics, and our new face will make it easier for you to navigate and discover things that interest you.

We also have a great group of contributors lined up who will be revealed in the coming weeks. These are industry insiders and specialists in their fields with some great insights to share. This week’s contributor is Robin Schmitt, who discusses how to keep your website safe this Christmas. Read Robin’s’ post here.

Our enewsletter is also coming back bigger and better than ever and will be sent every Wednesday. Not signed up? You can subscribe here.

Finally, we want to hear from you. If you’ve spotted any glitches in our new site, if you have an editorial suggestion, a story about your business to share or would like to become a contributor, drop us a line here. We also have a comments section so feel free to let your voice be heard there, or you can follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram if social media is more your thing.

In the future I’ll use this weekly column to share interesting things I’ve read, heard or seen about the world of retail, but for now I just want to say thanks for visiting and I hope you like our new look!
