A London company responsible for creating in-store atmosphere with its shop specific music programs has hit Australia.
Audio Sushi uses a variety of strategies to help retailers create a unique and memorable in-store experience for consumers.
Studies have shown the right kind of music can boost sales by keeping customers longer and encouraging impulse purchases, while playing the wrong music can have clients walking straight out the door.
Its popular consumer music styling service provides Audio Sushi with data on the music tastes of various demographics. It then uses the information to create the most relevant playlist for the store’s customers.
“Audio Sushi always provides on-brand and on-brief music for our boutiques,” says Sass & Bide’s marketing manager Samantha DeKauwe.
“They’ve allowed us to create a consistent musical identity across our 18 stores nationwide and are always helpful in working with us on our evolving briefs.”
Audio Sushi co-founder Kerrin Wallace says the company sees great potential in the Australian market.
“We believe there is great opportunity in Australia to help brands create effective sensory branding strategies using our background music service which encourages customers to spend more and develop an emotional attachment to the brand,” she says.
The company made its name working at events such as London Fashion Week and also offers DJs and iPod playlists for events, branded compilations, music for websites and advertising.
