Bizcaps powers Energizer into Officeworks

Energizer Australia has become the first supplier to become GS1net live with Officeworks.

Using Bizcaps’ GS1-certified Enterprise master data solution, Energizer Australia was able to synchronise its product information with Officeworks.

GS1net allow suppliers to provide product and pricing data to multiple suppliers through a single source. Bizcaps Enterprise can collect product and pricing information from a supplier’s existing systems and validates and publishes that information to their trading partners, in the format required.

Bizcaps had previously assisted Energizer to publish its product and pricing information to Coles and Metcash, ultimately improving order accuracy and dramatically reducing claims and errors for both organisations.

Richard Jones, GS1 Australia’s general manager industry engagement, said the potential for efficiency is enormous.

“Trading partners who are able to exchange transactions directly between their systems in a fully-automated way without the need for any human intervention, can achieve tremendous efficiencies, especially in high-volume environments,” he said.
