Uncertainty for hundreds of jobs at Target remains at large.

This follows speculations the retail chain is expected to announce up to 200 job cuts and possible restructure as a potential strategy to help turnaround performance for the struggling Wesfarmers-owned retailer.

A Target spokesperson told RetailBiz all aspects of the company is being review, which will include more team changes.

“There have already been a number of team changes as part of this reviewed, and more changes are likely. However, we will work these through with the Target team, and they will be kept informed of any changes that may arise,” the spokesperson said.

Last month, Wesfarmers downgraded Target’s earnings for the 2013 financial year as it was being affected by a number of factors, including the slow sales performance during the second half of the year.
