Online travel agent Webjet has announced a series of deals with international companies that will help fuel its development.
To facilitate its entry into certain emerging European markets, Webjet has entered into a 50 per cent joint venture with World Aviation Services Ltd Malta.
Webjet Singapore is scheduled to commence at the end of the month following the launch of Hong Kong while its Canadian website is due to be operational later this week. A resource contract with IGT in Manila has also been extended.
The company said it has also made an arrangement with Hotel Club, which will provide access to over 100,000 hotels worldwide.
“The combination of these significant partnerships will significantly propel our development over the next several years,” managing director David Clarke said in a statement.
