Iconic Australian Retailer, Target reveals new look store at Murray Bridge Green Shopping Centre
Leading Australian value department store, Target has today announced it will open a brand new store on Wednesday 9th December at the Murray Bridge Green Shopping Centre.
The new-look Target Murray Bridge store comes after a busy 12 months which has seen Target open eight new stores and undertake eight refurbishments across the country, in a bid to revamp the overall Target experience.
Ian O’Hanlon, State General Manager at Target, said the next generation store is part of the retail giant’s ongoing commitment to improving the shopping experience.
“We’re thrilled to bring our new look store to customers in South Australia for the first time. We’re confident that local shoppers will be delighted with the new features and developments available,” said O’Hanlon.
The Murray Bridge store includes new features such as a digital photo kiosk, an online order and collect shopping service, state of the art fitting rooms and a modern, easy-to-navigate store layout.
O’Hanlon continued, “The store marks a new chapter for us with the relocation from the previous Murray Bridge site. We’re delighted to confirm that all team members will move with us on Wednesday and we are hiring approximately forty new team members as part of our commitment to improving customer experience.”
To celebrate the opening, Target Murray Bridge will be giving away $10 gift cards to the first 100 customers through the door on opening day along with free balloons and face painting for the kids and free coffee for adults.
Paw Patrol will be in store from 12pm–3pm on opening day, with celebrations continuing over the weekend with a special visit from La La Loopsy on Saturday 12 December between 12pm-2pm. Sesame Street’s Elmo will visit on Sunday 13 December between 12pm-2pm.
