Godfreys Dee Why, located approximately 22km north-east of Sydney, was forced to keep its doors (literally) closed to stop the rain from coming in during the wild storm on Sunday.
Store manager, Alan Redon, was the only staff member able to reach the store, due to road closures and flooding.
He told Appliance Retailer this morning, “There was not a single customer that came through the doors yesterday, but we are hopeful with conditions expected to ease, that business will improve for today.”
