Online shopping site Catch of the Day has rebranded to Catch.com.au and launched a marketplace featuring some of Australia’s top brands.
Up to 300 sellers will join the site including Speedo, North Face, Lorna Jane and Asus, and customers will have access to over two million new products.
Cath Group’s founder Gabby Leibovich said that the launch represents “our most exciting start-up to date and it has been one that we have been working on for quite some time.
“The marketplace will allow us to beef up our already massive offering with more unbelievably great deals, in categories that we were previously not offering.”
In line with the Catch Group’s growth strategy to deepen its product range, it will expand its offering in popular categories including technology, beauty, fashion and wine, and enter new categories such as books, lighting, homewares, furniture and outdoor equipment.
Speaking about the rebrand, CEO of the Catch Group Nati Harpaz said it was a natural progression.
“Having gone from one deal a day to a large permanent catalogue of deals, the re-brand signifies our change and growth over the years, and will help position us as a one-stop shopping destination.”
The news comes after the Catch Group recently acquired the assets of childrenswear retailer Pumpkin Patch.
