Shop! ANZ is calling on shopper and retail marketing professionals to participate in the first ANZ Shopper and Retail Marketing Industry Survey in four years. Entries are open until 9 July 2021.
The research provides a guide on the key issues and trends in the retail marketing industry including budgets, digital, experiential, internal structures and sustainability.
Focus areas of the 2021 survey include experience, support and resource levels in individuals and organisations; shopper marketing activation types, touchpoints and measurement; digital, mobile, social shopper and retail marketing practice, as well as trends, challenges and the future.
Survey participants will receive a free copy of the research report, valued at $295, with the research findings presented at the Shop! ANZ 2021 Retail Marketing Online Conference scheduled for September 6 and 7, 2021.
The 2021 State of Retail Marketing Survey will be conducted by Shop! ANZ together with Illuminera executive director, Norrelle Goldring, who founded the inaugural Shopper Marketing industry benchmark study more than a decade ago and has continued the research every three years.
Shop! ANZ general manager, Carla Bridge said the survey is one of the biggest of its kinds in the world with several hundred people participating.
“We invite retailers, brands, manufacturers and retail-related agencies of all types to provide their views so we can understand how much progress the industry has made and gauge how we can expect retail marketing to change,” she said.
Previous surveys have led to measures for industry improvement and the refocus of Shop! ANZ to develop shopper marketing tools and education for the industry in Australia and New Zealand, according to Goldring.
Participants are encouraged to share the survey link to relevant contacts for a greater view of the industry.
