Innovative payments platform, Limepay, has signed on three new food services customers to modernise and simplify the payments experience for their customers, including national wholesale suppliers Zupply, EWH and Moco Food Services.
Limepay specialises in helping businesses manage payments more smartly and cost effectively. From instalments to fast financing payment options, Limepay believes digital payments are critical in providing great customer service.
“More than four in 10 (40%) of payments still happen by cheque. Moving to a modern digital payment system with Limepay means that these wholesalers can still maintain their close customer payment relationships but benefit from much faster payments, increased flexibility and better visibility around their debtors,” Limepay CEO, Willie Pang said.
As a national software solution for food suppliers and their customers, Zupply needed a payments provider that would suit their platform.
“Traditional payment gateways just didn’t meet our needs at Zupply, as they usually require us to be the owner of the goods. With Limepay, we’re able to offer our clients and sub merchants a much more seamless online payments facility. Limepay’s talented team really delivered us a compliant solution in a world class leading user experience,” Zupply CEO and co-founder, James Kelly said.
EWH has traditionally used highly manual and costly channels for payment processing, however, has recently moved to a more automated and digitised solution with Limepay, alleviating the need for their drivers and staff to collect payments directly off their customers when on site.
With Limepay, EWH has fully utilised the no-integration product on the Merchant Dashboard called ‘Virtual Terminal’. Now, they can easily send the customer a link via email to pay which can be paid off in a single or multiple orders at once.
“The utilisation of Limepay’s STACK and Virtual Terminal has seamlessly enabled our customers to pay online, however they want to pay. STACK’s Virtual Terminal feature has allowed Australia’s greatest chefs and food institutions to do what they do best – deliver premium food experiences for their customers,” EWH food services general manager, Johnson Yee said.
Based out of Brisbane, Moco Food Services has adopted Limepay to offer their customers a range of modern ways to pay, without having to send them outside of their website environment. Moco Food Services recently switched their business model to predominantly online and have white-labelled Limepay payment options under their own brand as Chef Pay.
“We’re now able take on customers without having to send them away first for a credit assessment. With Limepay, we’ve been able to close the gap between payments for business customers and offer new options like instalments without having to introduce them to new brands or companies,” Moco Food Services chief operating officer, Craig Purnell said.
