Australian fashion and lifestyle wholesale marketplace, Whola has partnered with Startrack to optimise logistics for its 130 member brands and increase efficiency and profitability for its 4,500-plus customers.
Whola founder and CEO, Alice Fitch said the Startrack partnership marks another market first in Australian fashion – and comes just three years after Whola’s establishment as a major disrupter in the traditional wholesale marketplace in 2019.
“This is a key milestone in our mission to make life better for retailers, enabling them to run more profitable business when they buy with Whola,” she said.
“Our model of harnessing the power of technology while remaining true to good, old-school service is already delivering speed and efficiency to fashion retailers and their brands. And with the Startrack partnership finalised this week, we have escalated it even further.”
The community of mostly female-led fashion retailers will soon enjoy even greater control of their buying of what are recognised as some of Australia’s best fast-to-market labels in clothing and accessories.
“However, we are not only streamlining the process and getting product to market quicker, but with Whola covering all shipping costs, our retailers are in for another windfall as they stand to increase the margin on their stock by up to 10%,” Fitch said.
