Healthy fast food chain, Fishbowl has opened on the corner of Adelaide and Creek Streets at Koala House in Brisbane CBD.
In a retail leasing deal struck by Colliers Queensland agents, Ishbel Jones and Chloe Lonergan, the 126 square metre tenancy located in the Golden Triangle office precinct at 256 Adelaide Street, is benefiting from office worker lunchtime foot traffic.
Colliers Queensland senior executive retail leasing, Ishbel Jones said Fishbowl has capitalised on the high amount of foot traffic with people commuting to and from work, as well as lunchtime rushes.
“Located among other popular lunch time venues such as Greenstreat and Oshin, this precinct is now becoming the go-to lunchtime food and beverage hub for inner city workers,” Jones said.
“The ever expanding Fishbowl has taken Australia by storm with nearly 40 stores now open showing the trend towards healthy and sustainable lunchtime offerings. With great proximity to Central train station in the Golden Triangle Brisbane office precinct, this was a great location for the opening of Fishbowl’s seventh dynamic design-driven space in Queensland.”
Colliers Queensland executive retail leasing, Chloe Lonergan added, “In a sign of old meets new, this building has a rich history and it is now home to one of the fastest growing and most popular food chains in Australia.
“Nationally, we are seeing a real scarcity for quality retail locations, with demand and enquiry from both local and interstate operators at a high. This site offered great branding exposure on a corner site in one of the busiest foot traffic areas of the CBD, the perfect spot for Fishbowl to establish themselves in the Brisbane CBD.
“Fishbowl was founded in 2016 with a single goal in mind, change fast food, change the culture, a concept that has already proven successful in Sydney and Melbourne, we look forward to seeing them succeed in Brisbane’s CBD.”
