JAX Tyres & Auto is providing a boost for local economies, creating jobs, and supporting community confidence with the recent opening of five new franchise stores and onboarding close to 400 staff nationwide.

In the last six months, new stores have opened in Charmhaven (NSW), Merrylands (NSW), Queanbeyan (NSW), Craigieburn (VIC) and Delahey (VIC), strengthening JAX’s national footprint.

JAX’s contribution goes beyond tyre and car maintenance service for customers, serving as a source of employment across all types of roles, with new hires including mechanics, tyre technicians, wheel aligners, and more.

JAX’s ability to attract and retain staff is something the company is particularly proud of, according to executive manager for people and culture, Sharlyn Cavinta.

“In a notoriously tight labour market, JAX has been able to bolster our team nationwide by embracing a diversity of skills that new recruits have been able bring to the company. Ambitious, adaptable new recruits have been supported by internal promotions, apprenticeship and trainee enrolments, giving more people the chance to step up and show us what they can do,” she said.
