Nescafé has renewed its partnership with Foodbank, Australia’s largest food relief organisation. The partnership aims to provide Australians facing food insecurity with access to Nescafé Blend 43.

The agreement will see over 700,000 bespoke Nescafé Blend 43 Foodbank tins made by Nestlé for distribution by food charities over the next three years – making over 37 million cups of coffee.

Initially established in 2021, the partnership has placed over 500,000 tins of Nescafé Blend 43 into the hands of Australians around the country.

Nestlé Oceania general manager for beverages, Martin Brown said, “Coffee is not just a beverage, it’s a source of comfort, energy and connection for many. By continuing our partnership with Foodbank, we can support community in meaningful ways and ensure that individuals and families facing food insecurity can also enjoy a warm cup of coffee, bringing a sense of normalcy and comfort to their lives.”

Foodbank Australia CEO, Brianna Casey AM added, “For many of us, coffee is a staple drink we have every day, but for those struggling to even put a meal on the table, coffee can be seen as a luxury and becomes one of the first items dropped off the shopping list. This is one of the reasons coffee is consistently one of the most in-demand items for Foodbank.

“We’re grateful for the commitment and partnership of brands like Nescafé which play a vital role in helping us meet the increasing demand for food relief across the country. Together, we will continue to help those doing it tough put a meal on the table and enjoy a hot cup of coffee.”
