The winners of the 2024 Pharmacy Excellence Awards were announced at the inaugural Independent Pharmacies of Australia Group (IPA) Member Summit, recently held on the Gold Coast, bringing together pharmacies across IPA’s 1,100-strong membership network.

Selection criteria included exhibiting outstanding commitment to operational and customer service excellence, having a patient-centred approach to care and demonstrating a commitment to community and pharmacy best practices.

Considered one of Australia’s most prestigious and highly regarded pharmacy accolades, the event saw Chemist Discount Centre Gosnells claim the National Pharmacy of the Year Award and Flannery’s Pharmacy & Life Pharmacy Forbes’ Jack Buckley crowned as the Pharmacist of the Year.

IPA managing director, Steven Kastrinakis said the awards were an example of IPA’s ongoing commitment to recognising the impressive work of those within its network.
