Japanese global apparel retailer, UNIQLO will celebrate the opening of its new store on the Gold Coast at Robina Town Centre on Thursday 28 November 2024.

UNIQLO’s new store will offer a full line-up of UNIQLO LifeWear apparel for men, women and kids, including the latest Spring/Summer collection, as well as the upcoming Comptoir des Cotonniers collection with selected items available, and UT range including Final Fantasy, Sanrio and STAR WARS history collection.

The new single level store has a sales floor that covers over 902 square metres with self-checkout machines, which use an advanced technology to complete customer transactions automatically and instantaneously, eliminating the need to scan any items.

Commenting on the opening of UNIQLO’s new store, UNIQLO CEO for Australia, Fuminori Adachi said, “Thanks to outstanding support from the Gold Coast community, we’re pleased to open our new store in Robina. The UNIQLO Robina Town Centre team is excited to introduce our LifeWear philosophy and provide the exceptional customer service we’re known for. We hope the whole family will experience the joy, happiness, and satisfaction of wearing our high-quality clothes, with all at great value.”

Robina Town Centre general manager, Matt Powis added, “We’re incredibly excited to be welcoming UNIQLO to Robina Town Centre. There’s a huge amount of hype from our customers and community around the upcoming opening. We’re certain that our customers are going to thoroughly enjoy their experience with this renowned international brand.”

To celebrate the store opening, a large Japanese lantern featuring the iconic UNIQLO logo will be displayed above a merchandising display with the latest UNIQLO collections, located nearby the new store within the centre. UNIQLO will also run activities for children and families, where they can create their own artworks to take home.

UNIQLO Robina Town Centre opens 10am on Thursday 28 November, following an official Japanese ribbon-cutting ceremony and traditional taiko drumming performance as a nod to UNIQLO’s heritage. The first 500 customers who spend $100 or more in the store will receive a free UNIQLO gift bag.
