Leading sporting retailer, rebel has opened two new stores in Victoria, one in Wodonga in the state’s north east and the other in Delacombe in the west.

Across 1,800 square metres, Wodonga residents have access to coveted brands such as Lorna Jane, Ell/Voo, Nike and Muscle Nation. Shoppers can also test their shooting skills at the Basketball Experience Zone, enabling them to try their sporting goods before they purchase them.

Across the opening weekend (Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December), rebel offered the first 100 rebel active customers a voucher worth between $10 and $500 as a lucky door prize to be spent in store that day.

rebel has also pledged to donate four $500 gift cards to local sporting clubs, continuing its support of grassroots community sport. For every purchase made during the first two weeks of opening, customers are encouraged to vote for any local sporting club of their choice that is deserving of a gift card to invest in sporting equipment for the club.

rebel general manager for portfolio strategy, Ryan Pittaway said, “While expanding our regional footprint is important in solidifying rebel’s position as Australia’s go-to retailer for sporting equipment, it’s also fantastic knowing we are doing our part to ensure that Australia’s next great sporting superstar has access to the gear they need to chase their sporting dreams.”

Across 1,800 square metres, shoppers in Delacombe can also access coveted brands including Lorna Jane, Ell/Voo, Nike and Muscle Nation, as well as test their shooting skills at the Basketball Experience Zone.

The new store marks the second retail location for rebel in greater Ballarat, alongside the store at Ballarat Central.

“We’re excited to be opening our second store in Ballarat at our new location in Delacombe. We’re always looking to enhance the shopping experience, so we’re inviting residents to come and visit the new store, shoot some hoops at our Basketball Experience Zone and check out some of the latest gear,” Pittaway said.
