BP Australia has finalised its acquisition of X Convenience, expanding its network with 49 additional sites across South Australia and Western Australia.
Paul Augé, BP’s Senior Vice President for Mobility, Convenience & Midstream in Australia and New Zealand, described the acquisition as a significant step in the company’s growth strategy.
“Today is a landmark day for BP Australia. We are thrilled to welcome the X Convenience team to bp and supercharge our quality fuel, convenience and card offers through our refreshed network in South Australia.
“We look forward to learning from each other as we grow our business together.”
Established in 2006 by the Kosmidis family, X Convenience has a range of in-store food offerings, including Coffee Stations, Burger X, Dessert X, and Down Dog ‘N Shakes.
The deal, first announced in May, integrates X Convenience’s network with existing BP-branded fuel sites in South Australia. BP customers can now use BP Plus cards and BP Rewards at all X Convenience locations.
