Square’s email marketing tool, Square Marketing, is now available to Australian businesses as they come out of lockdown and prepare for the holiday sales season.
Square Marketing allows business to create, send and track email marketing campaigns in minutes from one-time campaigns to personalised automations. It is designed to drive buyer engagement and return on investment (ROI), save time and effort when sending emails and easily measure campaign results with real-time analysis.
Square Australia is optimistic that there is light at the end of the tunnel and a return to something closer to business as usual, according to head of business development, Colin Birney.
“As states open and we near the holiday season, Square Marketing – along with our broader product ecosystem – will give sellers exactly what they need to grow,” he said.
“Restaurants can share special offers or information about loyalty programs, while retailers can sell more gift cards, and tradies can keep customers in the loop about when they’re operating. The possibilities are endless.”
Square general manager of customers and point of sale, Saumil Mehta added, “Square Marketing gives you access to powerful tools that are typically reserved for enterprise-level businesses. Because Square Marketing is integrated with a business’ payments, you can more accurately attribute specific campaigns to specific sales. That means that sellers can experiment with different marketing strategies, and fully understand just how impactful they’ve been.”
Square Marketing is available for early access for all current and new Square sellers and is free for the first month of use.
