Boomi, a Dell Technologies business, is introducing a solution designed for retailers to create a more personalised customer experience.
The solution – Retail 360 – enables retailers to improve decision-making, increase margins and decrease costs with the collection, aggregation and analysis of customer data. This is done by streamlining omni-channel activity including ecommerce, point of sale, inventory and databases, as well as uniting marketing, orders, inventory, pricing and promotions and delivering applications faster.
A recent Forbes Insights report found that 82% of consumers will research a product online before they visit a store. Further, insights from BRP Consulting revealed that 63% of consumers compare prices, seek reviews or check availability while shopping in store.
Boomi senior VP – product, UX and solutions, Ed Macosky said online commerce became mainstream in the last decade, however, the retail industry needs to morph and embrace change once again if it’s to succeed in this new decade.
“Retail companies need to think of themselves as providers of highly personalised customer experiences and harness the data to deliver unique and differentiated customer journeys. Boomi’s Retail 360 will provide a low code, cloud integration platform to accelerate their business outcomes,” he said.
