Confectionery brand Allen’s has opened a new pop-up store allowing Sydneysiders to revisit some of their favourite sweets that are no longer available.
Located at Westfield Sydney, the Lolly Bar offers limited edition packs of spearmint leaves and green frogs—old favourites that have been discontinued. Customers will also have the chance to create personalised lolly jars and try never-before-seen lollies.
Nestle’s head of confectionery, Martin Brown, said the company is excited to be giving the people what they want.
“With 125 years in confectionery we know that listening is the key to creating lollies the nation loves,” he said. “We can’t wait to see Sydney’s creations at the Allen’s Lolly Bar and to spread some sweet smiles this Christmas.”
Some of the limited edition lollies on offer include Allen’s funny teeth, choc-coated bananas and an Aussie mix featuring the Sydney Harbour Bridge, a kangaroo, koala, Aussie map and boomerang shaped lollies.
“Sydney-siders have asked for something new and the Allen’s team has responded with the ultimate corner store experience,” said Brown.
“Lolly-lovers can personalise their very own labels, build their dream Allen’s lolly combo or indulge in amazing one-off limited edition lollies only available at the Sydney Westfield pop-up.”
The Allen’s pop-up will run until Christmas.
