ALDI will bring its shopping experience to the Townsville community later this year, signing a lease for a 2,252 square metre space at Willows Shopping Centre in North Queensland.
In partnership with Dexus, the new store will provide shoppers with grocery products at unbeatable prices and iconic Special Buys, together with fresh fruit, vegetables and bread delivered daily.
Willows centre manager, Ryan Wheelhouse said, “We’re excited to be working with ALDI to bring their store to the Townsville community. The community are also excited about this announcement and the great value ALDI offers. The store will be located next to TK Maxx, making Willows the only centre north of south-east Queensland to house all three supermarket chains under the one roof.”
Dexus head of retail leasing, Eddie Giraldo added, “After much anticipation and popular demand from the Townsville community, we are delighted to be working with ALDI to bring them to North Queensland. ALDI will bring a new affordable, quality supermarket offering to Willows. We are committed to delivering the best retail experiences in Townsville.”
ALDI will join Woolworths and Coles, as well as Big W, Rebel, JB Hi-Fi, Cotton On Mega and Best & Less, and 130 specialty retailers.
Willows Townsville is managed by Dexus and owned by Dexus Wholesale Property Fund.
