ALDI Australia is on the move in Canberra, with the relocation of its current Gungahlin store at 43 Hibberson Street to the new Shop MM1, The Marketplace Gunghalin.
The new location is 45% larger, with a bigger fresh produce and chilled offering, and an increased number of Special Buys tables.
ALDI regional managing director, Alex Foster said, “We’re so pleased to be bringing a bigger and better Good Different shopping experience to local Canberrans who already know and love ALDI, and for those who may be yet to experience ALDI’s vast exclusive brand range, curated to deliver the best quality at the lowest possible price.”
The new ALDI Gungahlin location features a number of innovations including the addition of self- serve checkouts and installation of improved chiller and freezer equipment, designed to reduce the store’s energy usage.
“Although the store may be in a different location, our Price Promise remains the same – we won’t be beaten on the cost of your weekly shop. We welcome both new and existing customers to journey down to the new store and experience the incredible savings that can be made for themselves,” Foster added.
