In a statement provided to C&I, Aldi Australia has confirmed the purchase of a site for a store at Sydney Business Park, Marsden Park.
According to an Aldi spokesperson, “The new store forms part of our long-term commitment to bringing the Aldi difference to more customers across New South Wales, offering residents and workers in the area an unbeatable shopping experience”.
Aldi has received development consent for a 1000sqm store and is expecting to open to customers early next year.
The Marsden Park store is expected to provide 15-20 permanent job positions and increased opportunities for local suppliers.
Aldi will continue to work closely with the local planning bodies such as council, other businesses and residents to ensure a new store positively impacts the local community.
By offering high quality products at permanently low prices every day, Aldi is able to provide its customers with simple and compelling offer. A recent survey conducted by independent consumer advocacy group Choice found Australians could save up to 50 per cent on their weekly groceries by shopping at Aldi, reinforcing their position as a price leader.
The Aldi offer includes fresh fruit, vegetables and bread delivered daily, a wide range of grocery products as well as Aldi’s popular Special Buys.
