Leading eyewear company, Bailey Nelson is gearing up for further growth across New Zealand with the opening of two new Auckland retail stores at Botany Town Centre and Sylvia Park Shopping Centre.

The new stores are the brand’s 98th and 99th stores globally and brings the Kiwi total to 10 stores.

Botany Town Centre is located at the junction of Ti Rakau Drive, Ti Irirangi Drive and Botany Road, connecting to vast demographics and suburban areas in the Howick Board Area. Sylvia Park Shopping Centre is the largest indoor mall in New Zealand and contains over 200 retailers.

Bailey Nelson co-founder, Peter Winkle said these major store openings in Auckland were a sign of things to come across the country.

“Our new locations in Sylvia Park and Botany Town Centre will not only appeal to our core demographic; they will help to connect our brand with Auckland’s outer suburbs and a more diverse consumer base,” he said.

“We see excellent growth opportunities in Auckland and New Zealand at large and have plans to greatly expand our footprint in the region over the coming two years. People value great eyecare and beautiful designs at fair prices, and we look forward to spreading the word on what we offer to all New Zealanders.”

Both stores will offer eye tests at least five days a week and be equipped with an OPTOS machine, one of the most sophisticated imaging tools available that allows the optometrist to view the back of the eye at a resolution four times greater than a traditional retinal camera, which can only examine around 20% of the retina. An OPTOmap image arms the optometrist with more clinical information that facilitates the early detection, management, and effective treatment of eye disorders.
