BSR expands presence in Sydney

National franchise group BSR Australia Limited has officially expanded the Betta Electrical brand in the key market of metropolitan Sydney with the opening of new stores at Bankstown and Richmond.

BSR Australia general manager Ian Brown welcomes the new franchisees and says both were existing retailers which had converted to BSR from another group.

“The retailers we speak to can see the benefits in both our business strategies and our market approach,” says Brown.

“Bankstown and Richmond are both quality stores and are indicative of the strength of the group we’re building, which to date comprises more than 200 BSR stores.

“We will welcome more retailers like our new teams at Bankstown and Richmond to BSR, as we expand our presence both in Sydney and around the country,” he says.

BSR Australia was formed last year to meet the buying and marketing needs of Betta Electrical and Chandlers retailers who acquired the brands after franchisor Betta Stores Limited was placed in administration.
