After opening its first lifestyle store on the Mornington Peninsula earlier this year, Country Road has applied a similar concept to a space in Melbourne’s Albert Park.
The new store stocks Country Road’s man, woman, child and home collections alongside a café and garden where customers can relax.
“After the success of our Sorrento store of a similar concept, we felt Albert Park was a wonderful location to continue our complete lifestyle offering,” said Darren Todd, Country Road managing director.
Located in a heritage listed building, the store’s aesthetic reflects Country Road’s modern look “while still capturing the charm and warmth of a local store,” he explained.
The café, called Park, is a collaboration between the retailer and Almond Milk Co, with a fresh and healthy menu that focuses on local produce.
“Our concept was based around providing the Country Road customers with a healthy, new and exciting menu and giving the space a level of uniqueness by introducing our first Almond Milk Co retail offering,” said Almond Milk Co founder Cameron Earl.
“I can’t believe the reception we’ve received from the locals. It’s been absolutely incredible.”
