Decathlon has unveiled a series of fitness classes and picnic kit rental service for free in the heart of Sydney CBD until September 30 2024. 

Decathlon is encouraging Sydneysiders to get outdoors and keep active with these new complementary services available exclusively from Decathlon new store at 570 George Street.

To enhance fitness opportunities for Sydneysiders in the CBD, Decathlon has launched free fitness classes led by the retailer’s in-house fitness experts. Featuring HIIT and pilates classes in the park and guided run club sessions, locals can pre-book a free session online.

The timetable consists of up to three complimentary classes per week until the end of September. The classes take place in nearby parks and surrounding areas and every participant who attends a session receives a free gift.

Decathlon’s new picnic kit rental service features all the essentials with each kit featuring two blankets, a food and drink cooler and a selection of outdoor sports games including Pétanque, Finnish Skittles, Quoits, and a soccer ball.

10 picnic bundles are available for hire per day between 10am and 6pm from Decathlon’s new Town Hall store. Sydneysiders must book in advance on the Decathlon website to secure a bundle.

Whether on a lunch break or a resident seeking fresh air, we aim to make staying active easier for locals, as we recognise the significant benefits of regular movement.”

“The Town Hall store offers convenience and accessibility to those in the inner city who want to keep active or need to pick up something quickly. Decathlon Australia has enhanced its online offering by introducing over 40,000 new products exclusively available on its new online marketplace, designed to provide Australians with the largest offer of sports and outdoor gear.
