A movie and pizza has always gone hand-in-hand; as such, Eagle Boys Pizza has partnered with Hoyts Cinema to bring pizzas to cinema goers.

An Eagle Boys Express kiosk will open at Hoyts Cinemas in Penrith and Charlestown with another to follow soon in Carousel.

Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said partnerships with high-traffic entertainment destinations like Hoyts would fuel expansion and attract new customers to the Eagle Boys brand.

“Partnerships like that with Hoyts Cinemas enables Eagle Boys to deliver real taste, real size, and real value pizzas to more of our hungry customers,” he said.

“Pizza and movies have long been partners, and now cinema-goers can also enjoy a tasty treat while watching the latest blockbuster outside of the home.”

The new express model, features an enhanced menu of seven-inch personal pizzas and sides items, is already located in airports, service stations, convenience stores and other high-traffic areas.

Hoyts CEO Delfin Fernandez said this will provide more options for cinema goers.

“Historically, cinema-goers have had to go elsewhere to have a meal before or after their movie. With the inclusion of Eagle Boys pizzas, Hoyts offers our guests dinner in a movie, not forcing them to go elsewhere for dinner and a movie. This allows us to offer a truly end-to-end entertainment experience,”  he said.

According to Clayton, the Hoyts partnership with the Express model was a customer-focussed initiative that he hoped would be replicated elsewhere in the market.

“The Hoyts partnership with Express coincides with the biggest menu and brand revamp the Eagle Boys Express model has seen since it was rolled out five years ago and is an excellent example of two brands working together to improve the customer experience,” he said.
