Greenwood Plaza in Sydney has been refurbished unveiling a green oasis where visitors can ‘escape the everyday’.
Utilising its outdoor space, the rooftop garden of the shopping centre, which is owned by Mirvac Property and Eureka Funds Management, has been implemented with deck chairs and giant chess pieces to create a vibrant atmosphere to encourage customers to take time out.
Other design elements include installing lighting that changes to reflect the time of day, a bamboo garden and natural timber panels to bring the outdoors in.
Adrian Marks, Greenwood Plaza centre manager, said they want to engage with their customer further with the refurbishment.
“Our vision was to develop a new look that would appeal to all of our customers,” he said.
“We realise how important it is to keep in touch with our customers and to ensure that they feel comfortable, inspired and understood.”
The new look Greenwood Plaza is attracting new retailers like international food retailer Din Tai Fung, which is due to open in November.
It will join existing retailers including Cue, Witchery, French Connection, Sportsgirl, Nine West and Pandora. In addition, Greenwood Plaza boasts a strong fresh food precinct complimented by an IGA Supermarket. The shopping Centre also directly links to Mirvac and Eureka’s 27 level commercial tower, which is currently 100 per cent occupied with a workforce of approximately 3,500.
