Department store Harris Scarfe is relaunching its men’s and women’s fashion ranges with a renewed focus on price, brand and quality.

For spring/summer 2017, customers will be able to shop for more fashionable apparel at lower prices and with multi-buy deals.

General manager of marketing, Simon Burrett, says the re-boot initiative was designed to meet the changing needs and expectations of the Harris Scarfe customer.

“Harris Scarfe has driven change and realigned to become more customer-centric,” he explains.

“This is at the core of our re-boot offering. The strategic plan driving this campaign is also powering the growth of the department store―an expanding national footprint, including store refurbishments and the evolution of Harris Scarfe store aesthetics. We continue to offer customers a compelling shopping experience.”

The retailer is moving away from the traditional model of discounting, however, will continue to offer great bargains and specials throughout the store with 30 per cent off fashion accessories and handbags, 30 per cent off women’s footwear, 40 per cent off all bras, 40 to 60 per cent off all homewares and manchester and 15 to 40 per cent off all electrical.

General manager of fashion, Nicole Naccarella, who led the restructure says the company knows its customers like and seek out established brands and products, while keeping at the forefront of each transaction.

“We have accepted the challenge to keep ahead of the curve with a new, more browsable way of shopping at Harris Scarfe,” she explains. “There is a growing trend for mainstream fashion lovers to purchase great pieces that offer great value. I’m excited to present our new offering to customers.

“We have rationalised our product, with each brand now providing a definitive purpose and direction. The brands have improved on the attention to detail and quality, from hemlines to cut, fabric, and the feel and flow of garments,” she adds.

The new look collections are available in store now.
