To keep members motivated, Home Timber and Hardware provided them with the opportunity to win the ultimate AFL and NRL grand final prizes.
All Home stores needed to boost their total plumbing, building or timber purchases and the eight retailers who increased their trade purchases by the largest percentage won.
Barry Stride, Home Timber and Hardware trade manager, said the incentive is just one example of the program of rewards and incentives independent retailers receive as a member of the group.
“We’re proud to be able to offer exclusive opportunities such as these to our members to motivate and inspire them in order to continue to stay ahead of the competition,” he said.
“The successful stores were driven by the opportunity to be right at the heart of two of the biggest events on the Australian sporting calendar. And as they return to their businesses after a thrilling weekend, I’m sure they are already driving their teams towards victory in the next incentive.”
B&S Home Hardware (Northern Territory), Richmond Home Timber & Hardware (Victoria), Fitzpatricks Home Timber & Hardware (Victoria) and Melton Timber & Hardware (Victoria) won the AFL grand final prize.
Meanwhile, the NRL grand final incentive went to Bowen Home Hardware (Queensland), Langs Building Supplies (Queensland), Maclean Home Timber & Hardware (New South Wales) and Mittagong Home Hardware (New South Wales).
