Commerce platform provider hybris has increased its investment in Australia appointing 10 new staff members to the Asia Pacific region and launching a new product support centre in Sydney.
Sydney was selected as the ideal location for hybris to locate its APAC support centre and become the hub for technical consulting capabilities in the region.
“This represents hybris’ further commitment to the Australian and broader APAC markets. Having a product support centre in Sydney will enable us to share our technical expertise with our customers and partners in this region and improve the service we provide,” said Graham Jackson, managing director, hybris, Australia.
hybris has bolstered its technical consulting team with the appointment of a sales director, technical consultants, delivery managers and support staff.
Less than a year after opening its Australian office, hybris has secured a number of well-known retailers, as customers. Target and Lorna Jane both recently launched their new websites based on the hybris Commerce Suite and many more are set to launch shortly.
“We are experiencing a strong demand for our omni commerce platform in Australia, particularly from retailers wanting to sell their goods across multiple channels and devices,” Graham said.
“ Many retailers understand the value of having a single view of customers, products and orders, but a few are starting to realise the benefits of providing the customer with a single view of the retailer. We look forward to working with these organisations, demonstrating what can be achieved on a single commerce platform and helping them gain an edge in a very competitive retail environment.”
