KFC has landed at Perth Airport, with the grand opening of a new restaurant, offering a convenient and delicious pit stop for passengers before or after their journey.

The KFC restaurant is led by general manager, Sang Ho Im who has been with Collins Foods for 20 years and three years with KFC. Samuel Turfus has taken on the role of assistant restaurant manager, having been with KFC for six years.

“The KFC Perth Airport team is delighted to welcome hungry travellers who can now get their hands on the Colonel’s delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken for the first time at Perth Airport. For locals who want to get their hands on the Colonel’s fried gold from the comfort of their home, delivery will also be available,” Ho Im said.

Perth Airport chief property officer, Dan Sweet said that it is great to have KFC now operating on the estate, providing plenty of employment opportunities for the local residents.

“We are working hard to develop the Airport West precinct into a drawcard for Western Australian businesses, offering great options for passengers, airport workers and the local community. With Redcliffe Station within walking distance, the new store continues to deliver on our vision of developing a transit-oriented town centre,” he said.

KFC Perth Airport has created 49 new jobs for the local area and provides opportunities for team members to develop skills in customer service and teamwork. As they progress in their role, they gain self-confidence and develop life skills to succeed both in and beyond their career at KFC, offering both in-person and digital training initiatives.

“We’re thrilled to welcome 49 new team members into the KFC family, providing a significant number of jobs to the local area. We’re passionate about building a strong and confident team to ensure we provide both the best customer service possible and quality Kentucky Fried Chicken to the people and hungry travellers at Perth Airport,” Ho Im added.

“Our culture fosters the growth and development of our people by providing opportunities that help them gain lifelong skills, confidence and friends. We’re looking forward to watching our new Team Members reach their potential.”
