Melbourne’s world-famous Lune Croissanterie is heading to Sydney in 2024, with its second premium outlet now announced at 1 Elizabeth Street in Martin Place, following the reveal of its flagship store in Darlinghurst.
The second location is part of the Sydney Metro Martin Place integrated station precinct which is being delivered by Macquarie Group. Lune will join one of Sydney’s most vibrant and diverse retail and dining spaces, with a mix of dining experiences, espresso bars, fashion and retail stores.
The deal for the approximate 100 square metre space was secured by the Colliers team of Michael Tuck and Jo Windybank, who identified Lune as an ideal anchor tenant.
Tuck said, “This exciting deal marks a significant milestone for both Lune Croissanterie and the Martin Place metro development. With its prime position and diverse retail offerings, 1 Elizabeth is set to become a vibrant destination for the best-in-class retailers, and Lune Croissanterie is leading the way.
“This prime location, with its activated street frontages and high foot traffic, is the perfect setting for Lune Croissanterie’s venue. We are proud to have played a part in bringing this iconic brand to the heart of the CBD.”
Windybak added, “With its unique arrival experience and a vibrant mix of retail and dining spaces, 1 Elizabeth is poised to become a sought-after destination for food enthusiasts and retail connoisseurs alike.”
Founded in 2012, Lune’s popularity has seen it claim the title of ‘World’s Best Croissant’ by New York Times food critic, Olivier Strand.
