The country’s largest Australian-owned and operated book retailer, QBD Books has opened a new store in Melbourne’s eastern suburb of Forest Hill.
The grand opening, which marks the continuation of QBD’s national expansion, saw discounts and a range of acclaimed authors making appearances, including award-winning novelist, J.P. Pomare.
The launch was also attended by other Melbourne authors including Amie Kaufman, Kate J Armstrong, Lili Wilkinson and Vanessa Len.
The new store is positioned within Forest Hill Chase shopping centre carries QBD’s extensive collection of best-selling and discounted products, including the iconic Australian Geographic range.
According to QBD Books CEO and children’s author, Nicholas Croydon, the opening is another exciting milestone for the company.
“As Australia’s largest and fastest growing team of retail booksellers and enthusiasts, we are thrilled to be opening in another Melbourne location with our latest store at Forest Hill Chase. We’re incredibly excited to see the QBD Books network further expanding, and I’m looking forward to announcing more store openings throughout 2024,” he said.
