rebel sport has opened a new store in Launceston, Tasmania, marking the retailer’s second store in the state.
Throughout opening weekend, shoppers had exclusive access to offers on major brands such as Lorna Jane, PE Nation, adidas originals, Speedo and Muscle Nation. In October, rebel Launceston will welcome homegrown Olympic golden girl and Speedo athlete, Ariarne Titmus to the store for an appearance and to experience the store first-hand.
rebel has pledged to donate four $500 gift cards to local sporting clubs. For every purchase made, customers are encouraged to vote for any local sporting club of their choice that deserves to receive one of the gift cards to invest in sporting equipment.
rebel general manager for portfolio strategy, Ryan Pittaway said, “Tasmania is an important state in our national plans, and we’re excited to be expanding our reach with our new store in Launceston. We know the power that sport has in building communities, so we’re inviting all residents of ‘Launnie’ to celebrate their new local rebel sport store.”
The store measures 1,862 square metres and includes a Basketball Experience Zone, encouraging customers to get active and shoot hoops as part of their elevated shopping experience.
