Just a short stroll down from its fierce opposition, Samsung has opened its new experience store at 450 George Street.

Designed as a premium retail space, the Samsung Experience Store has a strong focus on the popular Galaxy portfolio of smartphones and tablets, but also has a range of other smart devices like cameras, notebooks, audio systems, Blu-ray players and TVs.

“As one of the largest smartphone suppliers both globally and in Australia, we believe it is the perfect time to give Australians the opportunity to learn about our technology and then be set up with a new device, all in one store,” said Samsung vice president of telecommunications, Tyler McGee.

“While the store is fundamentally a place where Australians can find and buy the latest Samsung products, what makes it different is the opportunity it provides shoppers to learn and experience the power of sharing  content across multiple products and illustrate how products like our smartphones and TVs can work together. We were very keen to create a comfortable, browsing experience for customers.”

One advantage of the Samsung experience store is it has partnered with Telstra, Optus and Vodafone so customers can choose a plan for their new smartphone or buy outright if they wish.

A dedicated service desk and training sessions are also available for customers to learn about products from trained Samsung staff.
