Australia’s most-loved arts, crafts and homewares store, Spotlight has opened the doors to its refreshed Fountain Gate location. The major facelift utilises the space on offer at the 5,016 square metre store, which is the second largest in Victoria.
According to Spotlight CEO, Quentin Gracanin, the new-look store is a welcome addition to the shopping precinct.
“Part of our continued store operations strategy is listening to our customers; their feedback and experiences are part of the secret to our success,” Gracanin said.
“Our customers want ease of shopping, which includes having all their product needs at their fingertips. We heard them loud and clear and incorporated this into the store’s delivery and online. The Fountain Gate store now features a new front entryway, a new party concept and layout, a dedicated craft room for demonstrations, a machine destination station that showcases all name-brand sewing machines, as well as a green room.”
The bigger space also means a larger inclusion of popular ranges, such as Home Decor and Party.
“The new party concept and layout will feature 1,500 additional lines across baking, party essentials, costumes and accessories. Similarly, our Home Decor range will extend to 1000 additional lines across kitchen, dining and storage,” he added.
Spotlight is also set to roll out 10 self-service checkouts in the coming months to complement its existing four-hour click and collect program.
“Spotlight is excited to continue to serve the wider community with all the supplies they need to create, decorate and celebrate. We look forward to continuing this trajectory across Australia, steadfast in our mission to open more stores here and internationally.”
