Koala, known for its iconic mattress-in-a-box and range of high quality Australian-designed furniture, will now sell its products on the Amazon Australia store.

For the past three years, Koala has been testing the Amazon marketplace in Japan with pleasing results in relation to engagement and targeting new audiences.

In the last two years alone, Koala has introduced 44 new products across Australia and Japan, including a new range of sofas, office equipment and, most recently, three new mattresses. Now on Amazon Australia, Koala will be reaching more customers with additional products in the pipeline.

Koala furniture takes inspiration from Australia’s landscapes and lifestyle that is represented in its colours, materials and finishes. The opportunity to expand sales domestically through Amazon enables the business to grow and create more local employment opportunities.

Koala is a B-Corp and a 1% for the Planet member, which means it sticks to the highest social and environmental standards and gives away 1% of gross sales annually for the good of the planet, people and animals.

With every Koala product purchased, money is donated to WWF-Australia to help support endangered species like koalas, turtles and glossy black cockatoos.
