thankyou joins ebay

In celebration of International Thank You Day, held on 11 January, eBay Australia announced that the Thankyou brand has joined the online marketplace.

Founded in 2008, Thankyou is an Australian social enterprise that gives 100 per cent of its profits—$4.8 million to date—to fund safe water, food, and hygiene and sanitation services around the world.

Launching on the marketplace will extend the brand’s reach to eBay Australia’s 11 million monthly visitors. Its store stocks the full range of Thankyou body and baby care products along with curated hampers.

Daniel Flynn, managing director and co-founder of Thankyou, said that working with eBay will help his brand continue to work towards the goal of ending global poverty.

“Having our products available on eBay is really exciting for us,” he said. “Through teaming up with eBay we’re able to widen our reach to sell more of our range, making an even bigger impact through our projects around the globe.”

Tim Mackinnon, eBay senior director retail growth, said that the company is proud to support the local business.

“Thankyou is an outstanding Australian brand and we are thrilled to welcome them on to eBay,” he said. “We are proud to support Thankyou by making it easier for shoppers to access their products anytime, anywhere, and support their great projects and cause.”
