Catch Outlets offers savings on brands including Tiffany & Co.
Designer fashion brands have traditionally stayed away from online marketplaces, but Catch Group’s latest venture brings luxury products to consumers at bargain basement prices.
Catch Outlets, which Catch Group bills as ‘Australia’s first online brands outlet store’, will feature deals from labels including Dolce & Gabbana, Tiffany & Co., Armani and Calvin Klein.
There are currently around 75 designer stores on the site, offering shoppers savings from 25 to 80 per cent off regular retail price.
While high-end retailers may be apprehensive about selling on e-commerce marketplaces in order to protect their luxury branding, Catch Group is pitching the outlet as an easy way to clear end of line or past season stock without interfering with existing sales promotions or brand pricing.

Catch Group CEO Nati Harpaz said the designer outlet was a natural expansion for the business, and that demand from customers was there.
“Catch Outlets is a natural extension for Catch Group as we look to build Australia’s largest online shopping destination for customers,” he said.
“Central to that is ensuring we offer choice and value by continuing to expand the number of categories, brands and products we have on offer. With Catch Factory Outlets, we are now able to present an expanded and more permanent offering to our customers with dedicated outlet stores from leading brands.”
The launch of Catch Outlets follows the Group’s recent expansion into New Zealand and its partnership with Optus on mobile phone service Catch Connect.
