Keeping up with consumer demand for greater convenience and efficiency, Eagle Boys Pizza has upgraded its online website.
The revamped site features a new core online ordering system that has automated integrated point of sale (iPOS) capabilities, a new payment gateway, and customer database potential.
CEO Todd Clayton said the system comes as a result of research into online customer usability.
“Eagle Boys Pizza customers are continually looking for easy to use, convenient ordering that suits their busy lifestyles,” he said.
“Overhauling our online technology capabilities has been a priority to satisfy customers’ growing appetite for convenience.
“Given the high penetration of home internet and the growing smartphone market, online ordering has hit new highs, forcing Eagle Boys to revamp its online ordering capabilities in-line with emergent technology.”
As part of the new system, the website also includes links to corporate news and events, store news and integrated calendars.
The Eagle Boys Pizza core online ordering system is part of the company’s $3 million technology overhaul, which also saw the launch of its Windows Phone 7 pizza app.
