Ex-Myer logistics director Prakash Menon has been appointed to Shooii Limited’s board of directors.
 
Prakash, who has also helped raise capital by taking a strategic stake in the venture, has 15 years of experience in merchandise planning, buying, product development and supply chain logistics.
 
He is best known for streamlining Myer’s delivery and warehouse systems by introducing roll cages, which improved the transportation of goods from dock to floor and cut offloading time by 38 minutes.
 
Shooii’s management team has a combined total of 20 years retail and footwear experience. The board of directors also includes David Prince, Graham Cook and Ed St John.
 
Founder and CEO David Prince, former owner and operator Sportspower on the Gold Coast and Footlocker Asia Pacific executive, says Prakash’s appointment to the board will help the company achieve in key areas.
