Australian fashion brand, Bird & Knoll has reflected on its remarkable success and previewed expansion plans to continue redefining resort wear for a global audience.
With over 88%of revenue now coming from outside Australia and New Zealand, with approximately 30%generated through e-commerce, Bird & Knoll is emerging as a leading player in the world of luxury fashion.
Bird & Knoll’s seasonal collections are a tribute to the coastal lifestyles of co-founders, Natalie Knoll and Macayla Chapman. What began as an idea in Sydney, has now transcended borders and taken Bird & Knoll’s exclusive resort wear to prestigious retailers such as Harvey Nichols, Bergdorf Goodman, Matchesfashion, and Neiman Marcus and into the wardrobes of celebrities.
Designed to seamlessly transition from vacation to everyday life, their pieces exude feminine luxury with multi-tasking functionality that resonates with the modern woman.
The business has been bootstrapped from the ground up by Knoll and Chapman since they started Bird and Knoll and to date have not used any external debt. To enhance operations, the founders are actively seeking a strategic partner in the near future, who can contribute expertise in sourcing, manufacturing, digital marketing, sales, and distribution.
“Resort wear is an Australian strength and there is a growing demand both locally and internationally. We are proud of the successful footprint that we already have in this space, particularly in the US and look forward to expanding even further,” Knoll said.
As Bird & Knoll looks to the future, the company invites potential strategic partners to join them on their path to redefine resort wear and create a legacy in the world of luxury fashion.
