Australia’s first online, delivery only supermarket, SEND, is changing the way Australians shop for groceries by fulfilling orders in 15 minutes or under.

The SEND app offers fresh local produce for the same retail price sorted in seconds, currently servicing most suburbs in and around Sydney and Melbourne CBD.

Ideated in early 2020 during the first wave of Covid-19 in Australia, SEND founder, Rob Adams created a platform inspired by his grandmother, and the more vulnerable in the community. The app is a safe and reliable solution for people seeking a contactless and convenient way to source groceries when needed.

“SEND is redefining the way an entire generation shops for groceries and daily essentials, making it possible to get the things you need delivered in under 15 minutes,” Adams said.

“Australian supermarket giants promote the idea of a big weekly shop; however, consumers don’t have time to curate long lists of groceries and spend hours shopping. SEND addresses the gap in the market by making it possible to get what you need when it comes to mind, removing the element of planning ahead.”

Designated ‘SEND Shops’ will be rolled out in early August 2021, starting in Potts Point, Alexandria and Camperdown in Sydney, as well as Southbank in Melbourne. The SEND team aims to establish 30 locations by the end of the year.
