Daily deal site Stardeals, which operates as part of the global Groupon network, has extended its offering to Perth.
Patrick Schmidt, Stardeals managing director, said the company’s progress in Australia is “extremely pleasing”.
“In a little over three months Stardeals has saved Australian consumers millions of dollars through deals in four major cities, plus national deals as well. Recent data from Experian Hitwise also indicates that Stardeals is by far the most popular group buying website in Australia,” he said.
Stardeals began operating in Australia on February 14, first offering deals in Sydney, shortly followed by Melbourne and Brisbane. The company also offers deals on a national basis.
Using the principles of collective buying, Stardeals negotiates unprecedented discounts with only the highest quality businesses. Stardeals subscribers get daily emails alerting them to the deals.
