Leading online fashion and lifestyle destination, the Global Fashion Group (GFG) has engaged exposure management company, Tenable to optimise visibility and security across its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud workloads using Tenable One.

With its first platform launched in 2011, GFG operates three fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platforms across 11 countries, connecting an assortment of more than 6,000 international, local and own brands to a market of 800 million customers.

In partnership with Tenable, GFG has tackled the challenge of safeguarding its cloud workloads and critical assets on AWS. With operations spanning multiple geographies, GFG’s IT team executed actions to consolidate technologies, mitigate cloud vulnerabilities and strengthen the security of IT assets. To establish a robust enterprise security architecture, GFG implemented zero-trust network access and focused on effectively communicating business risks to key stakeholders.

GFG global chief information security officer, Aleksandar Radosavljevic underscores the significance of these priorities.

“Tenable One spans our IT assets, cloud resources, web applications and active directory. Their solutions help us anticipate threats and prioritise remediation across our attack surface by focusing on addressing vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and entitlement issues. Cloud-based services are a key part of our business, so this preventative approach helps us enhance our cloud security posture and protect customer and business data,” he said.

“As an exposure management platform, Tenable One allows me to see assets, vulnerabilities, cloud misconfigurations, entitlement and over-privileged identities, and identity system flaws across our three sites in a single view. We’ve been able to integrate and consolidate expensive point tools, which improves visibility and control across our attack surface.”

Through Tenable’s reporting tools, GFG can communicate cyber risk more effectively to non-technical stakeholders, providing actionable insights aligned with strategic objectives. With Tenable, GFG has enhanced the discoverability of IT assets, improved integrations and simplified licensing processes. These improvements have reduced tool complexity and costs resulting in significant time savings and an overall strengthened security posture for GFG.

Tenable senior vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan, Nigel Ng reflected on the success of the partnership. “Our work with GFG showcases Tenable’s commitment to delivering solutions that not only address complex cybersecurity challenges but also align with the unique needs of our clients, facilitating their global operations.”
