Eagle Boys Pizza is giving its express store network a makeover for the first time since rolling it out five years ago.
Located in airports, service stations, convenience stores and other high-traffic areas, the express stores are independently-branded kiosks and will undergo a store fitout and menu revamp.
The Hoyts Penrith and existing Gold Coast and Perth airport stores will be the first to see the new model, with the new design to feature all 47 existing store locations within the next 12 months.
Like the new standard store model, the new express store design will utilise branding elements like natural wood panelling and photographic images to reflect the Eagle Boys “Real” brand, and includes inbuilt fridges and a repositioned menu board. The menu will also be enhanced with seven-inch personal pizzas and complementary items.
Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said the move is to cater to customer demand for great choice and to align its express stores with the Eagle Boys brand.
“Consumer and franchisee research during the past 12 months has shown customers on the go still want a broader range of menu items to cover all parts of their day,” he said.
“That’s why we’re now taking our Standard store three-tiered menu approach to all Express stores, selecting a range of our Traditional and Gourmet flavoured pizzas to appear on new seven-inch mid-style pizza bases, alongside a selection of side items like potato skins and desserts.
“The top 10 pizzas sold nationally in our 300 Standard stores have been chosen for the Express menu and include three gourmet pizzas – Butchers Block, Gourmet Vegetarian and Chicken Club.
“The move ensures consistency of products and toppings across the Eagle Boys network enabling customers to enjoy the same high-quality pizzas and experience when they visit our Express stores.”
